What is monitor signal check?

Signal Check is an automatic process that ensures that the current sensors (CTs) on your monitor are installed correctly, and that your monitor is receiving data with the proper phase and signal polarity. This happens during the setup after you've connected to your Wi-Fi network and logged into the Sense app.

During the course of the signal check, Sense may run into issues. Should this happen, there's is no need to worry. Sense is designed to identify these issues and automatically correct them with no intervention necessary.

In total, this process can take up to 48 hours. Once it's complete, data will start to be captured and you'll see real-time energy usage data come into the app!
