Creating an account is the exciting (and crucial) start to your Sense journey. You can only use the Sense app if you already have an installed Sense system, either via a monitor device in your electric panel or via a smart meter supplied by your electricity provider. And you can only use the installed Sense system if you install the app.
If you are having issues creating an account:
- Check that you’re connected to your Wi-Fi network and that your Sense system is receiving a strong signal. For more information on connecting to your Wi-Fi network, take a look at this article.
- If you already have another Sense system, ensure that you are using a different email address than you did for your other system.
Note: You can only create a Sense account from the mobile app.
Once you have created your account, you can access the Sense app via your mobile device and/or via the Web (find the Web version at Sense.com) and use your usual login credentials.
