What to know
Your device needs Wi-Fi turned on to pair the Sense Home app with your meter. Before you can proceed, you need to enable Wi-Fi on your device.
First, make sure your device is not in "Airplane Mode"
Next, if you are using an Android device:
- Open Settings
- Navigate to Wi-Fi settings
- Tip: Sometimes this is located under “Networks”
- Turn Wi-Fi ON
Or, if you are using an iOS device:
- You should be automatically alerted if your Wi-Fi is off.
- If you want to make sure, Open Settings
- Click on Wi-Fi and check that Wi-Fi is toggled to ON (green)
Once you've verified that Settings are correct, make sure that your home Wi-Fi network is selected and is operating.
