Why do I need to link Sense to my electricity provider?
For your security, Sense verifies your account with your provider to ensure no one else can connect to your electric meter.
What information is shared between Sense and my electricity provider?
By linking your provider account to Sense, you are directing us to receive details on your:
- Account: Account ID, Phone #, Email Address
- Property: Address, Meter ID
Sense uses this information to complete the setup of your electric meter. Sense may also use zip code to power energy insights in the app, such as home compare and carbon intensity.

Why is my electricity provider not listed?
Sense supports a number of providers that are rolling out Sense-enabled meters, but this process takes time. If you want us to communicate your interest to your electricity provider, please record your preference here.
What can I do if I don’t see my electricity provider?
