If you've received a Link Local IP error during your network connection test, here’s what you should know.
The easiest method to resolve this is to reboot your router.
- This error indicates that your Sense system was assigned an unexpected link-local IP address. The DHCP server may be misconfigured and the Sense system was assigned a 169.254.xxx.xxx address. A 169.254.xxx.xxx address will not allow Sense to connect to the internet. This issue can occur when the DHCP server stops responding.
If you're still experiencing issues after rebooting, please reach out to the Sense Support team.
