You may experience network connection issues that manifest as your Sense system being offline or frequent data dropouts in the Power Meter.
To troubleshoot, run a Network Connection Test from the app. This test measures how well your Sense monitor is connecting to the Sense servers. It does not measure the overall connection quality between your home and your Internet Service Provider.
- Navigate to Settings > System
- Scroll down to the Network Connection card and tap 'Connection Test'
- Now tap "Continue" and wait for the results to be presented in the app.
- Press "View detailed test results" for troubleshooting tips.
NOTE: When running a connection test, try to locate yourself and your phone close to your Sense system. If your Sense system is in a device installed in your electrical panel, make sure that Bluetooth is active on the phone.
