If you purchase a Sense Home Energy Monitor system you will receive one set of Sense current sensors (or CTs). If you purchase either the Sense Flex package or the Sense Solar package, you will receive a second, or add-on, set of current sensors. Each set of current sensors is identical to the others and can be used in whatever context your system requires. Labels on the sensors do not dictate how you use them, so please see them as interchangeable.
Your licensed electrician can connect any pair of Sense current sensors into the middle-port of the Sense monitor to track one of the following:

Note: Flex add-on sensors are our split-core sensors intended for multiple energy monitoring uses, not a Rogowski coil. In the past, a second set was called “Solar Sensors” as they were originally used to support solar monitoring, but they can now be used for various applications. |
