Creating an account is the exciting (and crucial) start to your Sense journey. You can only use the installed Sense system if you install the app.You can only use the Sense app if you have an available Sense system, either via
- a monitor device in your electric panel or
- a smart meter supplied by your electricity provider
If you are having issues creating an account:
- Check that you’re connected to your Wi-Fi network and that your Sense system is receiving a strong signal. For more information on connecting to your Wi-Fi network, take a look at this article and this blog: Keeping Connected: How to Improve Your Home's Wi-Fi
- If you already have another Sense system, ensure that you are using a different email address than you did for your other system.
Note: You can only create a Sense account from the mobile app.
Once you have created your account, you can access the Sense app via your mobile device and/or via the Web (find the Web version at Sense.com) and use your usual login credentials.
