Smarter Lighting, Smarter Insights
With Sense’s Philips Hue integration, you can connect your Hue smart bulbs to your Sense system—giving you deeper insights into their energy use and allowing you to control them directly from the Sense Home app.
How to Connect Your Hue Bulbs
- Open the Sense App and go to Settings > Connected Devices.
- Select Philips Hue and follow the pairing process.
- You must be at home and near your Hue bridge to complete setup.
- Your Hue bridge and Sense must be on the same network and IP subnet.
- Once paired, Sense will automatically add your Hue lights to your Devices list (this may take a few minutes).
- Sense will maintain the same groupings that you have set in the Philips Hue app.
How to Control Your Hue Bulbs in the Sense App
You can control your Hue bulbs from multiple places in the app:
- Devices List → Tap the small button next to your Hue device to turn lights on/off. Long-press for full brightness control.
- Device Details Page → Access full lighting controls for each Hue device.
- Now Screen → Long-press a Hue device bubble to quickly access lighting controls.
Important Notes
⚠️ You can only connect one Hue bridge to your Sense system at a time. If you have multiple bridges, you’ll be prompted to select one during setup.
⚠️ Control functionality is not yet available in the Web app, but you can still view your Hue devices and track their usage.
