Sense is partnering with a growing number of electricity providers and electric utilities across the United States to install Sense-enabled smart meters at no extra cost to you. To see if you are eligible for Sense on your home’s smart meter, you need only answer yes to each of these three questions:
- Has your electricity provider recently installed a Sense-enabled smart meter at your home?
- Has your electricity provider recently invited you to connect your home’s smart meter to Sense?
- Do you have home Wi-Fi that you can connect to your Sense-enabled smart meter?
For help answering questions 1 or 2, please contact your electricity provider’s Customer Service team.
For more insight on the Wi-Fi requirements, check out Is My Home’s Wi-Fi Compatible With Sense? in our Help Center.
If your home’s smart meter is not yet eligible, but you would like to use Sense sooner, you can purchase a Sense Home Energy Monitor to install in your electrical panel here.
