You can download your usage data as a .csv file using the Sense Home app, directly from the detailed usage screen.
Head to the Dashboard tab in the app, and tap on the Usage card to view your detailed usage. To download your data, scroll to the bottom of the page below all of your devices, and select “Export Data.”
On the next screen, configure your export:
- Devices: Choose “Entire Home” to see all devices broken out alongside your home’s total usage, or choose an individual device from the list to create an export of only that device’s usage.
- Date Range: The start and end date will initially be set to the period shown on the usage page, but you can update this to any period up to one year long.
- Granularity: Choose whether you want each line on your exported file to be one hour or one day of usage. Keep in mind that when you’re exporting “Entire Home,” you’ll have one line per device per hour or day, for the date range selected.
Once you’ve configured everything how you’d like it, tap the export button, and choose where you’d like to send the file. You can download it to your mobile device, or share it to another app.
Data export is also accessible from the Sense web app, and can be accessed from either the Usage page (Dashboard > View Detailed Usage) for entire home data, or from individual device details pages to download data for a specific device.
Please note, Sense users may export their usage data up to 5 times per day.
