Two-Factor Authentication (or Multi-Factor Authentication) is an extra layer of protection to ensure the security of online accounts beyond just a username and password. You can optionally set up two-factor authentication for Sense with any authenticator app.
You can set up or disable 2FA using the “Security” card in Settings. To enable 2FA with Sense:
- Navigate to Settings > Security
- Tap "Two-factor authentication" slider
- Enter your password
- Tap the "Open Authenticator App” button to automatically launch the authenticator app and auto-fill the setup key
- OR copy the setup key and enter it in your own authenticator app manually
IMPORTANT: If you experience an issue with accessing your authentication app and get locked out of Sense, please contact our Support team for assistance.
To Disable 2FA:
- Navigate to Settings > Security
- Tap "Two-factor authentication" slider to disable
